Motocross Track Open on Sunday (Probably).

You should call the trackline on Sunday morning or Saturday night just to be sure. But yeah, Rich tells me that the all-new, kick-ass motocross track is debuting on Sunday. Awesome, right?

If you can make Sunday's practice to check out the motocross track, we'll be open on Monday too between 10am and 3pm. Again, it'd be a good idea to call the trackline just to be sure.

As the post title implies, you can see the results for last Saturday's race (2010 Fall Round 2) right over here. The weather was toasty, to be sure, but the racing was great. We're off this week, but do not miss the third round of the series, happening Saturday, September 11th.

The transition to Flickr is slow but promising. When we're done, you will be able to see every photo Laurie's captured at Switchback since 2008. Snazzy, right? I added two sets of photos tonight, including photos from Round 5 of the 2010 Summer series.

Hey guys, got several good things for you. First, the 2010 Summer Series Standings are up. These results reflect all eight rounds of Summer racing. If you hit at least seven of the rounds, you can look forward to a banquet invite and a shiny trophy early next year.

Want more trophies? Crave greater recognition? You're in luck. Fall Series racing just started, and you can still qualify for series awards by hitting six of the seven rounds. The first round was last Saturday; check out the results here. Round 2 is this Saturday, August 28th. The full race schedule can be seen on the Races & Practice page. Also, in case the internet is confusing you, I've added the schedule below:

So I'm in the process of migrating all of the photos taken at Switchback since 2008 (more than 4,000!) to Flickr. I just added 400 or so photos from last May's Mystery Grand Prix. Fancy embedded slideshow viewer is below, but you'll have more fun browsing the complete MGP photo set at Flickr.

End of the Summer Series; Fall Series starts 8/21

I figure you guys are looking for two things here: Round 8 results and finalized series standings. I've got one of those things for you. Check out the results from Saturday and rest easy knowing I'm doing math and stuff to get the series points out. I've got a calculator and everything.

The Fall Series starts on August 21st. There's seven rounds and you've got to hit six to qualify for a series award. Dates are on the Races page.

Man, I need to find some other stuff to write about. That, or I need to syndicate race results and series standings via RSS. Next year, maybe. I guess we're only 5 years behind in web technology. Not bad, right?

Anyway, here are the results for last week's race. It was a fun one too. Also, Series Standings are up to date, with some preliminary series award eligibility.

Saturday (8/7) marks the last round of the 2010 Summer Series. Don't be sad; the 2010 Fall Series is right around the corner. The first race is on Saturday, August 21st at Switchback. It's a seven race series, and you'll need to hit six of them to be eligible for a series award.
